When We Stand Strong

Mom always told me when you're really getting under someones skin-you'll know it. You won't have to yell; you won't have to be outrageous. The only thing you have to do is present your argument in a clear and concise manner-it's OK to be passionate, but be clear and concise-the opposition will defeat themselves. Often, they will deteriorate into a blubbering, tooth gnashing, hateful, hot mess because they seemingly have no effect on you. If you can stand strong against it, you won.

Well, for those of you with a mom it will probably come as no surprise......she was right.

The libs and their dear leader are deteriorating quickly into ripping, writhing, name calling, hot messes. They were so surprised when conservatives didn't roll over and die when the bailouts were passed, then Cap and Trade and finally the proverbial last straw, the Healthcare Holocaust. Sadly, there is no reform in this bill, only death and destruction, leaving those that truly need help still suffering in it's wake.

Harry Reid calls us "evil mongers" Nancy Pelosi likens us to "Nazis". The President himself calls those who disagree "liars".
Facing a recent erosion of public support for health-care overhaul, President Obama lashed out at his opponents Saturday for spreading "outrageous myths" on the Internet, television, and at town hall forums.
Republican leaders, in turn, said it was Obama who is guilty of playing "fast and loose with the facts."
They repeated their assertion that the president's proposed government-funded public health insurance option would destroy the current private insurance-based system.
"I'm glad that so many are engaged," Obama said in his weekly radio address. But it should "be an honest debate, not one dominated by willful misrepresentations and outright distortions, spread by the very folks who would benefit the most by keeping things exactly as they are."

An honest debate that includes the fact that there are NOT 47 million Americans without health insurance? This is a false number and those in power need to stop perpetuating lies to sell their plan.

An honest debate that there is no possible way to reduce costs and increase enrollment without rationing? I will even agree that the word "rationing" is not written in the bill. They would have to be brain damaged to write it down-however-there is no way costs can be reduced while enrollment increases exponentially and not have rationing. There is no way a "panel" with no medical experience and no knowledge of you or your circumstance, will be able to look through a list of treatments and make cost effective decisions without it. When you weigh down an already burdened system with more people and the same money, there will be no other way. What is "evil mongering" and being "willfully misrepresented" is that things will somehow be different in America than Canada or the UK where common drugs and treatments are denied everyday. Why are we the only developed county in the world without healthcare for everyone? Because until now our leaders have been able to see the system we have, while flawed, is better than any other alternative. Think it won't happen here? It already is.

The President and his buds made insurance companies the enemy. They made doctors the enemy. They denigrate everything about a system that is envied around the world. Rather than respond to our calls for concrete answers, it is easier to label people racist, or profiteering, greed-heads that would sacrifice children's tonsils or a leg for profit rather than treat an illness for the long-term. (Which I would just like to point out is also a ridiculous argument-it is clearly more profitable to treat illnesses for years than cut it out or off and end treatment.)

In the end the left has had to send out their goons to pummel and intimidate people willing to take it, but it has not deterred us. They will continue to call us names and denigrate innocent people standing up for their rights.

We will continue to press our message loudly and forcefully, but always with only passion and clearness of message-not violence or intimidation.
