Um, no Harry, Ford is successful because they cut back, planned ahead and toughed it out during the worst times. They are also doing well because the people like a company that takes care of itself rather than one that takes a handout.SEN. HARRY REID (D-NV): "Isn't it a good thing today in America that we have an automobile manufacturing sector? If it had been up to them [Republicans], General Motors would be gone. If it were up to them, Ford Motor Company would probably be gone. Chrysler definitely would be gone."
Ford did not take any bailout money from the government.

Harry Reid mistakingly thinks the Auto Bailout saved Ford.
Wow, nothing like taking credit for something you had absolutely nothing to do with. This week Harry Reid gives the governement credit for the fact that Ford Motors is doing so well.

He might have a point. How many folks (me, for one) bought a Ford instead of a vehicle from a company that sold their soul to Obama?
