Card Check, quiet but not forgotten.

Speaking to the AFL-CIO today, President Obama said he would "keep fighting" for the Employee Free Choice Act. Better known as "Card Check" to most, the legislation has received some support from Democratic lawmakers, but not enough to break through the 60 vote filibuster proof majority in the Senate.
Obama said during a speech to the labor group's executive committee meeting that he continued to support the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA, or "card check") among the litany of proposals he favors to help workers.

"[W]e're going to keep on fighting to pass the Employee Free Choice Act," Obama told the union."Getting EFCA through Senate is going to be tough. It’s always been tough; it will continue to be tough. We’ll keep on pushing," he said.
As I often like to point out, it is very important for Conservatives to keep their eye on the ball and not let these legislative items get away from us. After the November elections, we must implore lawmakers to respect the wishes of the American people and not capitulate to the labor unions.
