Liar-in-Chief mad because other groups might tell the truth.

While President Obama uses the media to lie to us in this video he makes a couple of completely false claims.

One false claim: Obama says the Citizens United ruling will allow "foreign-controlled corporations seeking to influence our democracy... to spend freely in order to swing an election toward a candidate they prefer." which is completely false. In fact, Justice Kennedy noted in the majority opinion: “We need not reach the question whether the Government has a compelling interest in preventing foreign individuals or associations from influencing our Nation's political process.”

Another false claim: Obama also insinuates throughout the Address that politics of today are unfairly and wrongly influenced by "unseen forces and special interests" as though he, himself, wasn't guilty of using those very same forces and tactics in his campaign. It has become evident in this Administration what is good for the goose is indeed despised by the gander.

It was never more transparent that those working in the government today don't care for freedom of speech than when, last week, gangster government attempted to stifle criticism of Obamacare by sending out letters to insurance companies stating they would not tolerate the truth being told to policy holders. This from the same Administration that will now sit in judgment of political ads run by opponents of their party or ideas. Interesting.

There will be no zero tolerance for the truth. Don't forget that.

Face Punch Wednesday

Ali Velshi-During his XYZ Segment on CNN, Ali made the argument against extending the Bush era tax cuts using the liberal strawman that tax cuts cost money and saying "Our tax rates are relatively low, and we have not seen a huge surge in spending." Unfortunately, spending is up $5,000 per household, entitlement spending is up to a record 14 percent of GDP and discretionary spending has expanded 79 percent faster than inflation. I'm curious as to where Ali thinks all this debt has come from? Puff the Magic Dragon....nope, just Puff the Puffing President. for not understanding the definition of MORE and UP 5 punches

George Stephanopoulos-On Tuesday George wondered during an interview of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, if a Florida pastor's threat to burn a Koran could "change" and "challenge" the meaning of the First Amendment. To which Justice Breyer agreed that in a "global" theater we cannot shout "fire". It's curious how the First Amendment is consistanly challenged by those that twist truth and responsible speech on a daily basis. Do you supposed Stephanopoulos feels the same way about peeing on the cross or American flags being burned in the streets? How about viscous lies and rumors about Sarah Palin or Nicki Haley? No, I'm sure that's just everyday reporting. For not understanding freedom applies to everyone, not just those with whom you agree 8 punches.

Paultards
-First, I must define a Paultard:
A blindly obsessive Ron Paul sycophant hellbent on presidential coronation. This past Sunday St. Louis Tea Party with the help of Tea Party Patriots put on a fantastic rally as a rev-up for the upcoming November elections. For the most part we had great attendance and a good crowd.....except for the Paultards who seem to think the way to get the conservative/Republican vote is to berate us and carry around signs proclaiming Ron Paul 2008. With slogans like "Tea-O-Cons" and "Think Outside the Fox" they are sure to draw our hearts and minds to their side. I'm not sure if they even realize, but Ron Paul is not running for President right now. For being stuck in 2008 and thinking insults are the way to win my vote 7 punches

Text of 9/12 Tea Party Speech

I had to cut my already short speech a little shorter from the Tea Party at the Arch on Sunday. I thought I would post the whole thing here.

As conservatives, we find ourselves surrounded by those that claim to represent us, but with whom we have nothing in common. We have the liberal media maligning us, liberal organizations treading on us and a liberal president stealing our future from us. As those on the left spent the last 50 years taking over every aspect of our lives-politics, arts, education- you and I were raising our families, we built our businesses, our communities, our lives---- you know-we were taking care of business of the day. All the while we trusted those we sent to Washington were looking out for us.

No longer can we indulge in this false sense of security. No longer can we let our controversion control us. The political activist of today was born of necessity and a desire to return our country to the people. Some of us are Smart Girls, some Tea Partiers, some are Concerned Women, some “Heard the People Say” and some are Republicans who have been fighting in the trenches for years. Some of us are all of these. Thanks to these groups ---the establishment is finding they can no longer do whatever they want without the glaring light of truth shining down on them.

Within all of these groups, within the movement, one thing we see over and over is the rise of women. There are more women involved in politics and grassroots organizations than ever before. For many of us this is the first time we have gotten engaged in the political process. I’ve met so many powerful and wonderfully passionate women along the way. As conservatives began to realize acquiescing to the other side and the back alley politics of Washington were taking hold and jeopardizing our future- the women looked at our children, our families, our husbands, our partners and we said “THAT’S ENOUGH” We are the women who are going to lead the charge in taking back this country.

Groups like Smart Girl Politics have given conservative women a voice. While organizations like NOW and Code Pink have existed on the other side for years, conservative women have had few groups to represent them. As the past Presidential election cycle came and went and the politics heated up, conservative women began turning out in droves-dying for someone to help them, some to talk to, people to engage with. Smart Girl Politics provides a loud, powerful voice for all conservative women. It has given us a place to educate ourselves about issues, a place to organize, a place to feel empowered.

Our way of life is attacked. Our credibility. Our beliefs. Our characture. Our families…yet we persevere. The time has come for conservatism and true American values to rise to the top and take hold once again.

We are winning. For every set back, we have a win. For every disappointment, we have a victory. RINO’s are being evicted and Democrats are losing seats. Every time the media wants to make this event or that rally or some candidates loss a referendum on all of conservatism and the grassroots movement we come back just that much stronger. We have tasted victory and we like it.

If you need proof of the magnitude of this movement, you need only turn on the TV or open a paper. Main stream media often attack and denigrate regular American citizens without cause or validation. If you are a member if grassroots you are an angry white man, too stupid to pull up your own pants, let alone understand complicated economic policy. You are an extremist, dangerous and likely on the Department of Homeland Security’s watch list for your love of country and your involvement in the grassroots movement. You are a racist and a bigot for asking questions of the Administration and most recently, you are intolerant for having concerns about a new mosque set to be erected a stone’s throw from ground zero.

The party is listening to us now. We must remind them of the glory days of Reagan and what we stand for. We must lead them when they are lost and admonish them if they go astray. We are the leaders now. It’s up to us.

I’m Michelle Moore-thank you!

President to waste kids time in school AGAIN.

Is September 14th forever going to be Obama Day at school? For the second year in a row, President Obama has plans to address our kids during very valuable school time. For now it doesn't look as though there will be a scary lesson plan released along with his barrage of "I am awesome"; no praise for the President and wondering how the school kids will have visions of him dancing through their heads every night for a month after the speech. That's good; the tone of the lesson plan was my biggest problem last year with the scheduled speech the President wanted to give in 2009. With questions like "Describe how President Obama's speech inspired you." or "Write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president." Another assignment for students after hearing the speech was to "discuss what the president wants us to do." it was apparent it was nothing more than propaganda from the President, about the President. Maybe they got a clue this year.

While I know other Presidents have spoken to kids a few times, it looks as though this President feels he should talk to them every year. Of course we must all remember the hissy fit the left had when President George H.W. Bush spoke to school kids talking about staying in school and working hard. The reaction then was predictable.

You may have guessed this already, but news reports from the time indicate that Democrats criticized Bush for giving the speech.

"The Department of Education should not be producing paid political advertising for the president, it should be helping us to produce smarter students," said Rep. Richard Gephardt, then the Democratic majority leader in the House of Representatives."And the president should be doing more about education than saying, 'Lights, camera, action.'"

Patricia Schroeder, then a Democratic member of Congress from Colorado, said the speech showed "the arrogance of power," and that the White House should not be "using precious dollars for campaigns" when "we are struggling for every silly dime we can get" for education.

If it was a waste of time and money then, it continues to be a waste of time and money.

The last thing we need is this Administration further indoctrinating our kids into believing there is something wrong with working hard and making tons of cash. Or that they should share their gummy bears with the other kids, because those kids don't have gummy bears. Or that if you disagree with the President you are a racist, intolerant, bigot who is not entitled to the same rights of free speech that the left-wing lie machine that is our main stream press.

Maybe this time it will be different.........I won't hold my breath.

Franklin County prosecutor declines to pursue criminal charges against Brian Nieves

As it should be:
"After a review of the Washington Police Department report 10-1543 alleging Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Assault in the Third Degree, by Brian D. Nieves against Shawn M. Bell, I have not found evidence that would support criminal charges therefore, I will not be issuing charges based upon the information in this complaint."
Brian was innocent of these accusations the same as he is innocent of the other trillion things the disgusting, pathetic campaign manager for Dick Stratman, Shawn Bell, said about him. Shawn Bell is a contemptible, horrid excuse for a man who did nothing but spread lies and innuendo during the campaign for the Senate race in Missouri's State District 26.

A big hand of recognition to the Franklin County Prosecutors Office for seeing these false allegations for what they were.

Congratulations to my good friend and radio co-host Brian Nieves.

Paul Krugman wants you to embrace the mediocrity of Japan

Krugman writes his op-ed today proclaiming the gray, stagnant economy of Japan during the "Lost Decade" wasn't all that bad. Praising the lack of growth, the financial woes, deflated prices and constant unemployment; its his feeling if Republicans gain back power things will be far worse.
The Bank of Japan cut interest rates and took other steps to pump up spending, but it was always behind the curve and persistent deflation took hold. The government propped up employment with public works programs, but its efforts were never focused enough to start a self-sustaining recovery. Banks were kept afloat, but were slow to face up to bad debts and resume lending. The result of inadequate policy was an economy that remains depressed to this day.

Yet the picture is grayish rather than pitch black. Japan’s economy may be depressed, but it’s not in a depression. The employment picture has been troubled, with a growing number of “freeters” living from temporary job to temporary job. But thanks to those government job-creation plans, the country isn’t suffering mass unemployment. Debt has risen, but despite constant warnings of imminent crisis — and even downgrades from rating agencies back in 2002 — the government is still able to borrow, long term, at an interest rate of only 1.1 percent.

In short, Japan’s performance has been disappointing but not disastrous. And given the policy agenda of America’s right, that’s a performance we may wish we’d managed to match.

Sadly, there is no basis in fact for most of what Krugman uses to make Republicans look like a bad choice. The growth during the '80's under Reagan and 90's under Bush, when tax cuts where provided to the job creators and incentive was given to business to hire and fuel growth in the economy, speak for themselves. While Krugman emphatically defends the choices made by this Administration as choices that have kept us from falling into the abyss, there is no proof this is the case. Allowing big companies to fail and people to lose homes they cannot afford is painful however, there is much evidence that points to this being a much quicker and less painful road to recovery than the malaise and seemly unending economic depression we are working in now.

One of the biggest fallacies in Kruman's argument is if Republicans are successful in gaining power this November and they rip out Obamacare (as they should) it would surely result in "reducing economic security even as it increases long-term deficits." Regrettably, Mr. Krugman appears unaware the government's own reports are showing the cost of health care is going to rise. Personal spending will increase from an average of $8,389 per person now to $13,652 per person by 2019-this is $265 more per person than it would have been with out the new law. In addition, governmental spending will rise to 20% of the total economy by 2019. Even the White Houses' own health reform director Nancy-Ann DeParle said that by 2019 overall health care spending per insured person would average $14,720, which she states is a $1,400 savings over what it would be with out the law. The problem is, costs are still rising. No matter how you slice it or who you listen to, your spending on healthcare is going up, high and the healthcare bill was supposed to stop costs from rising. The sad fact is if the idea of true competition was allowed to flourish and grow healthcare costs would go down and service levels and satisfaction would go up. How can I say that that with no trepidation? Look at cosmetic surgery and lasik. Those are but two areas where doctors have had to compete for clients based on price and care. Prices have fallen faster, quality and technology have improved dramatically. Case closed.

Paul Krugman is wrong. Stagnation and deflation-"the gray times"-are not better. With decisive action, definitive policies and drastic cuts in entitlement spending we can have a growing, flourishing economy once again. If business is allowed to manage itself and people are allowed to grow or fail of their own animus and if laws are passed that actually encourage economic growth there might be hope for us yet. Hope for sunshine, not the gray days of nothing.

Clearly all our lawmakers feel illegal invasion of any kind is not really a crime.

(AUDIO) I watched Chris Matthews the other day and lived to tell about it. Talked to Ari Davidson http://www.teapartytracker.org/ They started off with the premise that Glenn Beck called Obama a racists (which he did) they went on and on about it-TOTALLY failing to mention Beck ahd already apologized for it and taken it back ON THE RADIO. (http://www.teapartytracker.org/blog_entry/beck-rephrases-his-claim-president-is-racist-meant-to-say-obama-believes-am )Later they again talk about the racial epitaphist supposedly said to the black caucus Started by NAACP, Think Progress, Media Matters, New Left Media. Will monitor racism and other forms of extremism within the Tea Party movement. This is so insulting on so many levels I don’t even know where to begin. There is a 15 minute video where they talk to about 10 different people, none of which are extreme or hateful-tho some may need a little more education. One lady was a birther….well ok. I disagree with her, but for the billionth time saying he might have not been born in this country doesn’t make her a racist. It makes her stupid. There are a trillion other examples just like this. Near the end they show video of folks signing “God Bless America”

My name is Robert Reich and I am a Socialist.

Robert Reich wrote an op-ed for the New York Times yesterday touting the benefits of socialism and raising the tax on top earners to between 70-90%. He had other great ideas, like making public universities free, but then taking 10% of your income for the first 10 years or charging a carbon tax on everyone, then giving those same people their own money back in the form of raising the income limit on the Earned Income Credit up through the middle class. I'm wondering who he thinks would pay the bulk of that carbon tax? He likes “earnings insurance”, guaranteeing you a specific wage for up to two years if you take a lesser paying job. Also, he talked about expanded early childhood education paid for with a .5% tax on ALL financial transactions. Essentially, no area is untouched by the government in order to give, give, give. Folks would have absolutely no way to avoid being on the public dole if a plan like this were implemented.

Robert espouses the virtues of all this government intervention by pointing to the steps taken during The Great Depression.
THE Great Depression and its aftermath demonstrate that there is only one way back to full recovery: through more widely shared prosperity. In the 1930s, the American economy was completely restructured. New Deal measures — Social Security, a 40-hour work week with time-and-a-half overtime, unemployment insurance, the right to form unions and bargain collectively, the minimum wage — leveled the playing field.
What is left off this poignant and beautiful tale of government over-growth is the fact that many economists now believe much of what was done during this time only extended the depression. Moreover, he points to programs like Social Security-now operating in the red and will be bankrupt in a few years-and the unions-which are in such dire straights they are looking at stealing 401k's from hard working Americans who don't even belong to a union in order to pay their pensions and unfunded healthcare costs.

Reich complains the government isn't doing enough to make sure we have a more "widely shared prosperity". Suddenly, it is the governments responsibility to make sure you get your share of others labors. Regrettably Mr. Reich doesn't seem to be aware that is not how things are in the U.S. This idea of shared wealth and prosperity are erroneous theory; it has been tried many times, in many countries, in many forms, left only to fail in the end. The people lose their freedoms, the powerful gain all the wealth and power, the poor become vastly poorer and slaves to the masters. Those who produce will stop producing, they will take their wealth and their talents somewhere else and the rest of us will be left towing the line.

San Francisco Sheriff Michael Hennessey fights to protect violent illegal alien offenders.

In the ongoing border war, San Francisco Sheriff Michael Hennessey wants to protect even the most violent and atrocious illegal alien felons from prosecution or deportation. While these offenders have murdered, raped and otherwise committed serious crimes against American citizens, it is more important to Sheriff Hennessey to protect the illegal invaders. All of this comes as no surprise though: Sheriff Hennessey is a law enforcer in a sanctuary city.

The top law enforcement official in a major U.S. county is vigorously working to withdraw from a federal program that checks criminals’ immigration status because it violates the area’s sanctuary policies.

San Francisco Sheriff Michael Hennessey, who operates the county jails, has for months tried to bail on a program (Secure Communities) that requires local authorities to check the fingerprints of arrestees against a federal database. The idea is to deport dangerous criminals, many of whom have fallen through the cracks over the years.

But the veteran elected sheriff says the arrangement violates San Francisco’s longtime sanctuary law, which forbids public employees and police from asking anyone about their immigration status. The famously liberal city by the bay also offers illegal aliens official government identification cards and all sorts of taxpayer-financed public benefits.

The policies have protected violent criminals from deportation, including those who have been convicted of atrocious felonies. A few years ago a Salvadoran gang member with two felony convictions murdered a father and his two sons because San Francisco law enforcement agencies never turned him over to federal authorities for removal. Secure Communities was implemented nationwide in 2008 precisely to avoid situations like those.

Incredibly, the sheriff’s priority is to continue shielding illegal aliens from deportation even when they commit crimes in the community he’s been elected to protect. Earlier this year Hennessey formally requested that California’s attorney general exempt his agency from participating in Secure Communities and when the request was denied, he asked the feds directly.

These people invade our border, commit crimes against citizens and take advantage of taxpayer funded programs and this Sheriff wants to leave the very folks he is paid to protect at their mercy. That is just fantastic.

And California has the nerve to come to us when they can't pay to support their state. This is ridiculous and pathetic-it must stop.

Poor white lib can't understand why a black man would want to be free.

This idiot lib thinks it's OK to demand these black men return to their African religion (Muslim) and then would turn around accuse Tea Partiers of being racists.....how ironic.

Can you imagine how this would play out if someone at the Ground Zero Mosque told a white Muslim to return to their religion of Christianity? I think the media would condemn them to hell and pin them to the Tea Party before the video was done playing.

Republicans hate Latinos

At least that's what Dolores Huerta wants you to think. What's even more awesome is she is telling this to a group of high school students, all the while praising Hugo Chavez.

Glad she's helping Kathleen Sebelius at the HHS to spread the word to illegals they not only have the right to a fair wage, but they also have the right to good housing and safe transportation. Really? Americans don't even have those rights....just the opportunity to get those things for ourselves.

Face Punch Wednesday

Robert Gibbs-Today "Baghdad Bob" neatly lied and avoided answering the question as to whether President Obama would give President Bush the acknowledgement he deserves in the successes of the Iraq war. Gibbs went on to say candidate Obama had said "there was no doubt adding 20,000 men and women would improve the situation." In fact, in 2007, then-Senator Obama said the surge of troops "will not in any imaginable way be able to accomplish any new progress". I'm curious to know if Mr. Gibbs is aware we now have video tape and record of most everything everyone ever said at anytime......especially in the House or Senate. For not understanding how truth or video works 8 punches

Hilary Clinton-The State Department and Hilary Clinton included Arizona and their new SB1070 illegal immigration law in a report to the United Nations as an "example" of "how we are debating this as a society." and to provide and example of possible human right violations in the U.S. Using this law as an example along side countries that violate human rights by genocide or flogging women to death is a ludicrous and pathetic attempt at demonizing Arizona in a made-up scenario. Maybe Hilary doesn't understand it is the governments job to secure our borders since she is incapable of securing her own bedroom. Because she cannot understand where her loyalties should lie 10 punches

Rachel Maddow-After the Presidents speech tonight Mr. Maddow went on MSNBC's Countdown to have a complete hissy fit over the one teeny tiny sentence wherin President Obama gave President Bush some acknowledgement of his care and concern for this nation and our security. Saying in part "I mean, it's beyond restraint from President Obama and anybody in the pro-Iraq war, pro-Bush camp who doesn't feel like they've been given the greatest political present they never deserved, was not listening to this speech." Maddow obviously thought Obama was much too gracious and should have completely destroyed Bush over the Iraq war.....as he has attempted to do over the economy, the environment, jobs-you name it, he has blamed Bush for it. Regrettably the only one who has been given the greatest political gift ever given is President Obama, for being elected to the highest office in the land with not one thing to qualify him for it. For having not one single gracious or respectable bone in his body Mr. Maddow gets 10 punches.
