Meanwhile, at a $10,000 per plate dinner at a mansion in Miami on Monday, Obama wanted credit for pulling us out of danger.
No worries President Obama, we'll be sure you get all the credit indeed.President Obama told supporters at a fundraiser in Miami on Monday night that he deserves credit for cleaning up the mess he inherited.
“My job over these first two years has frankly been to clean up a big mess,” Mr. Obama said at a $10,000-per-ticket event at a gated mansion in Miami Beach. “We were able to make sure we yanked an economy out of what could have been a second Great Depression.”
What about the fact that George W. Bush wasted trillions of dollars on the completely-unnecessary War in Iraq? Why is that sort of wasteful spending okay with you, but Obama's wasteful spending isn't okay with you? Do you even realize how bloated our military budget is, or do you just not care about that for some reason?
ReplyDeleteHannah, I get that you're kinda stupid, but can you not even do simple math?
ReplyDeleteIraq and Afghanistan together over the 7-ish years they went on during Bush's terms don't even total a trillion dollars...
Obama has blown several trillion in two years.
@ Hannah, when does anything that happens in the country stop being G.W. Bush's fault? Yes president Bush and the congress (which was Democratically controlled for a good part of his term) spent way too much and we Conservatives complained about that as well. The fact is that Obama and the Democratically controlled congress have increased the debt more than ALL previous administrations combined. Wasteful spending is wasteful spending no matter who is doing it. It is wrong, immoral and in some cases illegal. As far as the military budget, that is one thing that the government is actually Constitutionally obligated to spend money on. Health care, Welfare, EPA, Education, Agriculture, Czars, Etc. etc. etc.... incredibly, nowhere in the Constitution.
