(AUDIO) President Obama addresses the nation again on the debt ceiling. Spends the whole time telling lies, fear mongering and campaigning. You know, business as usual.
(as a side-while the President accuses Republicans of "holding the economy captive unless they get their way" he is the one vowing to veto anything that has thus far been put forward by anyone else.....so remind me who is holding the economy hostage again???)

(AUDIO) Speaker Boehner rebutts the Presidents address.

Looks like the White House media didn't want a response. Seriously, they thought Obama should have the national stage all to himself.....'cause, lies and other things.

Bloomberg thinks we can go for a while yet before we are in danger of default. Of course they also see the truth that apparently Obama NOR Boehner nor anyone else seems to get:

Silvia cautioned that there is still a risk that the U.S. will lose its AAA debt rating. “OK you’ve got a deal, the debt ceiling’s raised -- that’s not the issue,” he said. “The issue is what are the details behind that, that alter the long-term trend in terms of federal spending and the deficit, and that’s what the credit agencies are talking about.”

(AUDIO) President Obama thinks it would be super cool to bypass congress and all those dreadful rules to make the laws he wants, but that just isn't how our "democracy" works. Unless he wants it to work that way:
-President Obama enacts DREAM Act by Executive order.
-The Obama Administration takes over GM.
-Obama Administration begins to enact tougher gun control laws through executive order.

(AUDIO)Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons says the rich got a break for a while, got richer and now it's time for them to pay. Ugh-these guys just don't get it. He also seems to think the media isn't clearly behind Obama, cheering him on.

FCC Commissioner Copps thinks we need to do everything we can to save the old media. Really? So what exactly will that involve? Special anti competition rules? Federal subsidies? He also talked about "fairness" and "diversity"......yeah we all know what that means.

"Glitzy infotainment substitutes for real news and 'if it bleeds, it leads' determines newsworthiness," he said. "Maybe all that bleeding has something to do with why America isn't leading the way we used to. I have had a front-row seat to watch this devastation for 10 years on the FCC."

Copps also decried an ongoing "orgy" of media consolidation, as well as the FCC's "unforgivable lack of action on the diversity front."

(AUDIO) Fareed Zakaria thinks the Tea Party is extreme with a refusal to compromise. Well I do agree we are unwilling to compromise-why should we-you guys have been wrecking this country for 50 years. We are done compromising. In addition, the "ideological extremism" and "refusal to compromise" are just the lessons we learned from Saul Alinski, George Soros, Union leadership, and the enviro-nazis-when you have a position, all's fair in war and war and this is war.
