Face Punch Wednesday

Abercrombie-Last week if you were looking for a padded, push-up bikini top for your 7 year old you could have found one at your local Abercrombie store. In an effort to further sexualize our young girls and give a little something extra to pedophiles everywhere Ambercrombie for Kids had the sweetest little stripped bikini more appropo to a twenty-something than a pre-pubescent teen. Though they have since pulled it off the web site, for not knowing when young is too young 10 punches

Every Democrat that is for the bombing of Lybia-So these days bombing a citizen terrorizing dictator is awesome and what-not, but just three short initials ago (G.W.B) it was not "teh awsum". It was a war crime and a lie and a horrible horrible thing to do...oh and a war for oil-you know, just like this IS actually a war for oil.....European Oil that is. For being unable to be against something once you were against it 10 zillion punches.

Sen. Lindsey Graham-Good 'ole Lindsey seems to suffer from hearing loss saying in a CNN interview "Nobody complained about the cost of Iraq and Afghanistan on our watch." I'm curious, does Mr. Graham have ears at all? Does he suffer from delusional reality or does he just completely ignore reality when it is more convenient to just use whatever words he has sitting around in his mouth? For being as dumb as a box of hammers or possibly for just having them stuffed in his ears 8 punches.

Media Matters finds they are only relevant when attacking Fox News

The liberal hack site Media Matters has, over the years, completely given up any pretense of caring at all what goes on in "the media" in general and continues to narrow it's focus to slamming Fox News at every turn. When they began their campaign against conservatism in 2004, it was their clear goal to monitor, then counter, all media outlets for what they deemed to be conservative misinformation.
Launched in May 2004, Media Matters for America put in place, for the first time, the means to systematically monitor a cross section of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for conservative misinformation — news or commentary that is not accurate, reliable, or credible and that forwards the conservative agenda — every day, in real time.
However, they have become less and less relevant, maintaining any audience what-so-ever by appealing to the most out of touch and extreme of the liberal base. By narrowing their focus to Fox News and just a few conservative web sites they can excite the least informed. They take most content out of context or completely misconstrue the meaning; they seem to refute "conservative misinformation" by twisting facts to suit their own agenda. The irony is not lost on conservatives......this site claims to be the guard of truth and honesty against conservative misinformation by handing out mis-informative facts of their own.

In a recent interview, founder David Brock said Media Matters was preparing itself for an "all-out campaign of guerrilla warfare and sabotage” aimed at the Fox News Channel
“The strategy that we had had toward Fox was basically a strategy of containment,” said Brock, Media Matters’ chairman and founder and a former conservative journalist, adding that the group’s main aim had been to challenge the factual claims of the channel and to attempt to prevent them from reaching the mainstream media.

The new strategy, he said, is a “war on Fox.”

It would seem the only way for Media Matters to remain relevant is their sole reliance on attacking Fox News. Now they are not only trying (and failing) to make Fox look bad with their attempt at fact-less smears, but they are also putting together "opposition research files" on Fox’s top executives and a series of midlevel officials. Funny, I was not aware that top and mid-level executives' (probably personal) information, had anything to do with countering conservative news misinformation. It would seem that if you can't make news refuting news, the next best thing is to go after those reporting the news. When that fails, going after the executives who run the company makes sense.

Those who can, report facts, those who can't are Media Matters.....

Andrew Breitbart banished from front page of HuffPo for comments made ELSEWHERE

On Thursday Huffington Post spokesman Mario Ruiz announced Andrew Breitbarts writing would no longer appear on the front page of the Post. Because of comments Breitbart made about Van Jones in another article, on a different site, the Huffington Post has decided he violated their editorial guidelines and is no longer welcome on the front page of their site. It's interesting they feel they have the duty to admonish Breitbart based on something he said in an interview on a different site. I wonder if they apply these same terms of conduct to their other front page writers? Do they have a code of conduct that writers are expected to adhere to regardless of where they are writing or making comments?

Or is there the slightest chance this action was taken because the comments were made about Van Jones, Color of Change co-founder and BFF of Arianna Huffington.

A brief look back at some of the more prominent writers on HuffPo reveal the true issue, ad hominem attacks are only allowed if they are made right on the front page of the site.
The Huffington Post published an article by actor John Cusack in November 2005 that called Republicans “a league of bastards” and said that Iraq war supporters “are human scum.”

Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz wrote an article appearing on The Huffington Post a day after the death of Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist in September 2005. Dershowitz wrote that Rehnquist “started out his political career as a Republican thug” and that “Rehnquist’s judicial philosophy was result-oriented, activist, and authoritarian.”

Rehnquist was a “friend of corporations, polluters, right wing Republicans, religious fundamentalists, homophobes, and other bigots,” Dershowitz wrote.

“Cheney is a terrorist. He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately,” wrote actor Alec Baldwin in February 2006.

Baldwin wrote in a subsequent post, “I want to apologize to all of the readers of this blog for referring to Vice President Cheney as a terrorist… How about something more measured, then? How about… a lying, thieving Oil Whore. Or, a murderer of the US Constitution?”

As is always the case these days with the liberal, left media-ad hominem attacks are completely copacetic as long as they don't involve a member of the left-wing playgroup. With viscous attacks on Sarah Palin, Dick Cheney, Michele Bachmann and any other prominent conservative you can think of, it comes as somewhat of a surprise that a little unflattering language against Van Jones on a different site would be taken so offensively. I can only hope this means they will continue to extend this code of conduct to all their writers and keep the most offensive ones off their front page from now on.

CBO thinks taxing drivers more is the answer to our money problems

This week the CBO released a report(pdf) showing how taxing people based on how many miles they drive would raise needed funds for maintaining and improving our highway system. In the past these options have been discussed, but the practical technological limitations have dissuaded government from implementing a program like this. Now with advances in electronic metering and billing, a vehicle miles traveled (VMT) tax is much more practical.
"In the past, the efficiency costs of implementing a system of VMT charges — particularly the costs of users' time for slowing and queuing at tollbooths — would clearly have outweighed the potential benefits from more efficient use of highway capacity," CBO wrote. "Now, electronic metering and billing are making per-mile charges a practical option."
The only question left in the minds of our ever tax-happy government is the best way to implement such a program. It seems they can't decide if it would be better to take the "mandate it on every new vehicle" approach or if simply requiring you to get some sort of tracking device installed in your car is ok. There is some passing consideration to the complete and total invasion of your privacy, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do in the name of the King.....er, I mean for the good of the country.

It is exactly issues such as this that spurred the Tea Party movement to begin with. We are in a time when the people have demanded our government not only learn to live within its means, but continually find ways to reduce spending, and what options are they looking at???? Ways to get MORE of your money.

This Administration continually berates the oil industry, incessantly pushes alternate technology nobody wants and then comes back to the fountain of money known as the American Taxpayer when their initiatives fall short. Just like every other move made by this Administration, they cannot seem to see the forest for the trees. They never accurately predict the unintended consequences of their actions.

Raising oil prices, the push for electric cars and the lack of overall disposable income has led to a decrease in miles driven and revenues generated. What did they think they were going to do for money when that happened...........

Democratic Socialists of America & Union members teaching the benefits of organized labor to children in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin was the first state to incorporate organized labor curriculum in their schools. They propagandize peoples children with this stuff.

If you don't want to watch the whole thing, be sure to fast forward to the 4:50 mark, there's a lady talking once again about how all Tea Partiers are rich, white people......

New Tone: Union Protesters INVADE Tennessee Senate Chambers during session

In the spirit of the "new tone" some union protesters took it upon themselves to invade the Commerce, Labor and Agriculture Senate Committee room in the Tennessee state capitol. As one of the demonstrators said, "I see civil disobedience as an obligation that we have when we see injustices in the world." That is an interesting point of view. The left can't stand it when the right simply gathers on the grounds of a building in protest, but they find it to be their duty to invade an actual committee hearing and disrupt the proceedings at will for their issues.

Face Punch Wednesday

Stephen King-This week Stephen King traveled to Wisconsin to show his support for the union workers who have been wreaking havoc on the state capitol for more than a month now. The main gist of his message? He wants to know why the "rich" like him aren't paying 50% in taxes. Well Mr. King, I have some great news for you!!!! If you want to pay 50% tax, go right ahead!!! No one is stopping you sweetie. In fact, if you really want to do some good, why don't you go ahead and pay 90% in taxes???? For not putting your money where your mouth is 8 punches

Al Franken-Good 'ole Al spoke on Monday to a group of tech geeks at the SXSW Conference in Texas. (If you are unfamiliar with this conference, suffice it to say it is just a big geek-fest wherein geeks get together and talk about new and emerging technology/gaming/social media and the like over several days) Franken spoke to the group about the recent rule-making by the FCC over the Internet and touted the supposed importance of these regulations for keeping the Internet "free and open". He then went on to cite various examples over the last thirty years of how the already free and open Internet has allowed various artists and companies to thrive, while making lots of wild accusations based on absolutely no facts or actual occurrences about what will happen to the Internet if Net Neutrality were to die. For not understanding how to present and effective argument OR technology in the least 10 punches.

EPA-The EPA and some crazy, government loving group is taking one more bite out of your freedoms. Decades ago, scientists discovered a bacteria-killing chemical called Triclosan which helps people all over the world stay healthy. Now, some environmental extremists want us to take a huge step backward by banning these chemicals. By citing faulty research and making bogus claims, this environmental group is on the verge of making a major health decision for your family right now. This is just one more example of enviro-nazi's imposing their will on you against yours. For not minding your own business and using false information to push your agenda 5 punches.
(Also, be sure to sign SGP's petition telling the EPA to keep their grubby hands off your antibacterial hand cleaner.)

These people aren't ProChoice, they are ProMurder.

This is truly disturbing. Most of these people seem to have no care for the unborn at all. They aren't even saying it isn't a baby, they just want their abortions regardless.

I guess these folks forget they always had the choice....the choice to keep their legs closed.

Maybe we should legalize murder too. I mean really, what's the difference when this is your attitude.

Kidney Update: You know how they make those yummy strawberries?

(Previous entries: One, Two, Three, Four, Five)
If you would like to be tested to donate your kidney to me please call 314-362-5365 OR 800-633-9906 OPTION 2

I started dialysis this weekend. My regular visitors know I have chosen to use peritoneal dialysis which is less common and less well known than the more common hemodialysis.

I got my supplies about two weeks ago-to which I have had to designate an entire area of my basement.

This is one month worth of supplies. I will reorder them every 28 days. The green, yellow and red tape on the boxes to the right designate the strength of the fluid that I use during dialysis. The other boxes are supplies I need to do dialysis like cassettes, tubing, gauze, masks, fluid for sterilization of supplies, needles, heparin and various types of caps and clamps for my catheter and tubing.

The yellow is the weakest at 1.5% solution, the green is next at 2.5% and the red is 4.25%. There is also purple which is something like 7.5% but I don't have any of those. The dialysis solution is a mixture of dextrose (sugar), salt, and other minerals dissolved in water. Peritoneal dialysis works just like putting sugar on strawberries and you get that yummy juice out of them; the sugar in the dialysis solution draws the poisons out of my blood stream and tissues, which is then drained out of my body. I will alternate between the yellow and green (one bag per night) for right now. They will do several tests in a few weeks to see what this does to my numbers and then there may or may not be changes made.

The dialysis machine arrived at my house last Friday.

I had to go out and find a table that would hold it and all the supplies I would need daily to do dialysis. I got lucky and found this at GoodWill for 25 bucks. It holds about 1 weeks worth of stuff so that was a nice find. I can reload it each week and then work from that.

The machine is hooked to that bag on top, (which is warmed to body temp by the machine) to me and to a drain line, which you can drain anywhere you don't mind having pee.....which essentially is what comes out of that thing once it leaves my body. Mine drains into the laundry room floor drain. The machine automatically loads me up with solution, lets it dwell inside me for about and hour forty-five minutes and then drains it out. My schedule is to rinse and repeat 4 times through the night-8 hours of dialysis for me. Everyone is given a specific prescription of a total time/dwell time/solution strength.

The first night was horrible. I felt as though I had a giant rock sitting on my chest when I was full and experienced a lot of pain when it was draining. I had a hard time breathing and only got about two hours of sleep that night. The second and third nights have been considerably better. I'm getting use to it and am tolerating it ok now. I am at least now able to sleep and the "drain pain" seems to be worst with the last drain only-which luckily occurs at 6am wake-up time anyway. Pft......who needs an alarm clock now.

Once again, if you would like to be tested to donate your kidney to me please call 314-362-5365 OR 800-633-9906 OPTION 2 BEFORE APRIL 25TH.

Kathleen Sebelius admits the "Doc fix" was double counted when applied to the HealthControl take over.

I'm sorry folks but I'm sure it's basic accounting to realize that you cannot count savings twice and be taken seriously. Interesting they are just now getting around to questioning this (when I questioned it a year ago) and that no one in the media is reporting it.

Face Punch Wednesday

WI State Rep. Gordon Hintz- After a vote held on the floor of the House Monday concerning the state budget repair bill Rep. Hintz turned to fellow Representative Michelle Litjens and told her "You are f---ing dead” Well, well, well.....welcome to the new era of civility. It is an incredible state we are currently in wherein the left continually berates the right, calling us racist and violent and extremest at every turn for the last two years based on ZERO evidence or actual incident, yet crap like this happens and you get nary a peep out of the media. Because you need a real lesson in civility 7 punches.

Charlie Sheen-It seems Charlie Sheen is back on drugs.......if you ask him it's a drug called "Charlie Sheen". He's also running around deluded into believing we, the normal, average, not drug addled folks could not possibly understand him with our tiny, feeble minds. I have enjoyed Two and a Half Men over the years-the antics of a drunken, womanizing, rich boy has had it's amusing moments on T.V. However in real life it is pathetic and sad. For thinking far more of yourself than any of the rest of us think of you 5 punches.

Morning Joe and Mika-Joe and Mika have figured it out.......the middle-class cares nothing for the poor. In fact if it were up to us, the poor should just freeze to death with no oil to warm their homes. First they went after the rich, then they redefined rich, now they just come right out and say it-the middle class should give up what is theirs so the poor don't have to suffer. When will the poor have enough of what belongs to everyone else? For pushing class warfare and never saying enough is enough 10 punches.

Tuesday, March 1, 2011

Morning Joe and Mika say selfish middle-class does not care for the poor.

And now they come for the middle class.......well how long did we think that was going to take?

That's right you selfish middle-class you all just want the poor to freeze to death. You have no care or concern for anything they may need; you are only concerned for yourself. You only care about the money that was forcibly stolen right out of your paycheck and the fact that it probably won't be there for you when you retire. Of course the only alternative is to cut services to the poor.Clearly there are no other areas of government we might cut back on to save our country.

First, it was THEM....now you are THEM. Welcome to the land of vilification.

Oh sure....NOW he thinks it's a piece of crap

Now that it is politically favorable, it seems Senator Orin Hatch believes Obamacare was a mistake, a "one-size-fits-all federal government dumb-ass program. It really is an awful piece of crap."

.......really.....thanks Captain Obvious......
