Ready to snap? You're not alone.....

Americans are reporting levels of depression, anxiety, and illness at ever increasing levels. According to a recently reported collection of studies, WND reports Americans "snapping" By The Millions
Suicide has surpassed car crashes as the leading cause of injury death for Americans. Even more disturbing, in the world’s greatest military, more U.S. soldiers died last year by suicide than in combat;
Fully one-third of the nation’s employees suffer chronic debilitating stress, and more than half of all “millennials” (18 to 33 year olds) experience a level of stress that keeps them awake at night, including large numbers diagnosed with depression or anxiety disorder.
Shocking new research from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that one in five of all high-school-aged children in the United States has been diagnosed with ADHD, and likewise a large new study of New York City residents shows, sadly, that one in five preteens – children aged six to 12 – have been medically diagnosed with either ADHD, anxiety, depression or bipolar disorder;
New research concludes that stress renders people susceptible to serious illness, and a growing number of studies now confirm that chronic stress plays a major role in the progression of cancer, the nation’s second-biggest killer. The biggest killer of all, heart disease, which causes one in four deaths in the U.S., is also known to have a huge stress component;
Incredibly, 11 percent of all Americans aged 12 and older are currently taking SSRI antidepressants – those highly controversial, mood-altering psychiatric drugs with the FDA’s “suicidality” warning label and alarming correlation with school shooters. Women are especially prone to depression, with a stunning 23 percent of all American women in their 40s and 50s – almost one in four – now taking antidepressants, according to a major study by the CDC;
Add to that the tens of millions of users of all other types of psychiatric drugs, including (just to pick one) the 6.4 million American children between 4 and 17 diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed Ritalin or similar psycho-stimulants. Throw in the 28 percent of American adults with a drinking problem, that’s more than 60 million, plus the 22 million using illegal drugs like marijuana, cocaine, heroin, hallucinogens and inhalants, and pretty soon a picture emerges of a nation of drug-takers, with hundreds of millions dependent on one toxic substance or another – legal or illegal – to “help” them deal with the stresses and problems of life.
While these statistics are sad, it comes as no surprise. Just like the "malaise" and misery index of the Carter years-the people have voted themselves this misery and now they are reaping the results.

Missouri Department of Revenue Hasn't Gotten the Memo.....

So #WrongWayJay is trying everything he can to make the Missouri Department of Revenue scandal go away. Unfortunately, the incompetence he shows in running a State is just that much more glaringly obvious when trying to run a crisis of mismanagement.

Though plenty has already been written about this scandal, the latest word was that Jay Nixon had handed down the word to all DoR offices that the scanning of CCW info ONLY was to stop immediately. The DoR will continue to scan and forward your other personal, confidential documents to the "magical database" in some other state.

Unfortunately, I was told this morning, apparently some offices haven't gotten the memo as of yet. They continue to scan and retain all documents-sending them out of town. Additionally, they are apparently still scanning CCW certs in order to process them.

This is this is completely against the directive ordered by Nixon, and completely contrary to State law concerning CCW information.

In fact, the information handed out by the Missouri Highway Patrol states your conceal carry info is private and restricted:

q:
Is the list of carrying concealed endorsement holders a public record?
a:
No, it is private information. This information can be
further restricted in the same manner as other driver
information if the holder chooses to restrict it. However, as with
other restricted listings, law enforcement will have access to that
information.

The Conceal Carry law further defines who and under what circumstances any other agency may request access to your CCW information-and it's not to request the entire database of CCW holders who have committed no crime.

8. The sheriff shall keep a record of all applications for a certificate of qualification for a concealed carry endorsement and his or her action thereon. The sheriff shall report the issuance of a certificate of qualification to the Missouri uniform law enforcement system. All information on any such certificate that is protected information on any driver's or nondriver's license shall have the same personal protection for purposes of sections 571.101 to 571.121. An applicant's status as a holder of a certificate of qualification or a concealed carry endorsement shall not be public information and shall be considered personal protected information. Any person who violates the provisions of this subsection by disclosing protected information shall be guilty of a class A misdemeanor.9. Information regarding any holder of a certificate of qualification or a concealed carry endorsement is a closed record.

Once again the Administration of this State cares nothing for the people who live here, but only for furthering their own political goals.
