To waste one's own time complaining about a negligible amount of time in a child's school year is just stupid. A huge chunk of every, single child's school day is wasted, and on much less important things (such as shuffling from room to room, waiting for a teacher to deal with errant kids). If you can't use your own brains better than that, you certainly shouldn't be educating your child!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-403803322007821204.post-86682782192635820262010-09-10T14:39:08.379-05:002010-09-10T14:39:08.379-05:00I wasn't really excited about homeschooling wh...I wasn't really excited about homeschooling when we began this year because of a late birthday for our now-5 year old. But the more I read about this garbage and the president's mandatory audience and the political garbage that is behind writing textbooks, I am happy about our decision. I can't trust the school system to allow my daughter her chance to form her own opinions - and I can't trust them to allow her to gain a sense of pride in God and Country. Without those things, I will continue to homeschool.HealthByMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07313264328252017652noreply@blogger.com
